These are a few pictures from my photo day trip to Bastrop, Texas. The pictures are the remains from the wildfires that shutdown Texas highway 71 last week. There were a few fires still active that could be viewed from a distance and one tree was still burning along the HWY 71. It's a lot worse than my pictures indicates.
